STRANGE ABOMINATIONS
STRANGE ABOMINATIONS
The heavy shadows, distorted views and textured imagery all play a role in illuminating the darkness that pervades the natural landscape. The scenes are varied, some chaotic and confusing, others quiet and controlled. Each photograph essentially plays out like a narrative of the unknown, asking the viewer to be the storyteller. As for the chosen medium, the simplicity and quirkiness of the Holga camera provides its own tools for exploration. The resulting imagery reflects an enchanting and disrupting view of the world– one that continues to mystify even as we strive to find answers. STRANGE ABOMINATIONS
